ABOUT THE BRUINS

The Chicago Bruins Hockey Club, playing out of Addison Ice, is a not-for-profit organization that offers outstanding ice hockey programs to players looking to develop through one program where they can be considered “Elite Tier II”. The Chicago Bruins are committed to providing a challenging and fun experience that pushes all girls to be better athletes, hockey players and teammates. We focus on bringing out the student-athlete through hockey development and learning, with advanced coaching, on and off the ice.

We want to ensure all players can experience strong coaching and competitive hockey without sacrificing a social life, school events and/or other sports. We offer “elite” AA options for players looking for more advanced competition and play without the AAA demands. We also offer recreational teams for newer players wanting to learn and experience the great sport of hockey and push themselves to become better athletes.

Values:

1)  respect, teamwork and sportsmanship

2)  work hard, play hard (or in Tom’s case, all work and no play). ;)

3)  hockey is not life. But life is more fun when you play hockey.  (I just made that up - pretty good huh?)

4) good hockey players, great athletes, even better students

Mission Statement

The Chicago Bruins Hockey Club is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the education, enjoyment and competitive benefits of youth ice hockey. It is our goal to teach the fundamentals of ice hockey and the fun of playing the game. We are not an organization whose purpose is to win at all costs. We support fair participation for all players regardless of playing ability, to measure development in personal growth, hard work, self-discipline and team work. We strive to teach the valuable lessons of youth athletics that can be equated to everyday life…work hard, play fair, and love what you do.
Guiding Principles

The Chicago Bruins Hockey Club is guided by the following principles:

  • respect, teamwork and sportsmanship

  • good hockey players, great athletes, even better students

  • Once a Bruin ALWAYS a Bruin
